Support Chairo+

Thank you for visiting my humble little blog! With time, I hope that it will grow into a space that many people can enjoy. If you've already read and shared an article, we're already well on our way! Here are some other things you can do if you'd like to become more involved.

Leave a tip at Ko-fi

Ko-fi is a neat platform for creators like myself to receive financial support for their work. If you have a Paypal account, you can leave a tip of any amount on the Chairo+ Ko-fi page!

Your contributions will be used to keep the blog online – every year, I pay a small fee for the domain name, and every month, I spent a few dollars keeping the website's server running. But beyond maintenance, I will also use your funding to pay writers and artists who contribute to the blog. The more writers we have, the more content we can create! Artists will help give the website a unique look, and eventually we can work our way towards a gallery that visitors can peruse as well.

If you'd like to donate some of your time to write an article, I'd be more than happy to work together! As you can see on the blog, most articles are between 500 and 1000 words, and are categorized into one of three groups: What We Learn, or responses to texts related to ethnicity, identity, and activism; What We Enjoy, which are close readings of anime and video games; and What We Fight For, reflections on events invested in advocating justice. As there are no strict deadlines, the writing process is up to you!

I'm also happy to accept your art donations! While I take some pride in my writing, I do believe that including a visual component is essential, especially when discussing anime and games. Over time, I would like to replace the header images of the blog's articles with commissioned fan art and original works, eventually working my way towards a gallery. If you'd like to help out with this process, let's get in touch!
